OrganizEat is a recipe management application that helps users collect, organize, and access their favorite recipes in one place. The app allows users to save recipes from social networks and external sources, build a personal recipe library, and revisit them anytime, turning scattered cooking inspiration into a structured and searchable collection.
Our team started the project with a full UI redesign of an 8-year-old mobile application, modernizing the user experience while preserving existing user data and core logic. We then continued with long-term maintenance and feature-driven development, introducing AI-powered recipe recognition using Google Optical Character Recognition (OCR). This functionality extracts recipe text, instructions, and ingredient lists from images and shared content. In parallel, we improved recipe saving flows, account management, and overall app stability. The project demonstrates our ability to revive mature products, introduce AI capabilities into existing systems, and support long-term product evolution.
